I drove for almost one week with a “lost” “missing” oil filler cap. Then One day under the hood I notices the “missing” cap ! It made my check engine light come on. I puhased a new oem oill filler cap .Will the check engine light go out by itself and when ? Thanks
It should, it may take a few stop/start cycles. You might get your codes read at a parts shop, just to be sure there isn’t some other problem.
