Did you know,( and I bet you did) that Albert Champion invented the one piece spark plug that we still use today? He then sold his name to what would become Champion Spark Plug Co. Albert then went to work for GM to help them with manufacturing their own spark plugs. GM needed a name for the plugs, and was precluded from using Champion. Albert, however, had not sold his initials, and thus, AC Spark Plugs were born.
