The vehicle is paited black. The paint coat is pealing off around one of the tail lights. It looks like a plastic type layer is coming off in one spot by the tail light. The paint itself is not coming off, just an outer coating. Is this the Clear Coat coming off? How can it be prevented from spreading and can it be repaired?
It seems like people have been having more and more paint issues as of late.
Sure, it can be fixed. Take the car to a local body shop and get a quote.
You might also check with the Dodge dealer. I doubt the car is still under any kind of “factory” warranty…but the worst you’ll get it is a “no”.
