Fuel gauge give miss reading sometime it reads full when it’s half then goes back to full another time it says low fuel.
Probably the sending unit. It’s part of the fuel pump module and is located inside the fuel tank. It would be a lot cheaper and easier to use the trip odometer and just refuel every 200 miles.
