Driving down interstate 75 or so dash lights went out and then the engine shut down. Battery light came on drove to about ten more miles filled the gas tank then pulled out of the gas station. The lights went out veh shut down pulled over battery light still on restated drove two more miles home.
You are very lucky to get it home.
Now you will find out how much an alternator costs. If the original battery, replace it. If a recent battery, have it charged and tested.
