The average ignorant car owner is fed loads of crap about unnecessary repairs and maintenance and therefore has no idea what is important or not.

While agree that many people don’t know the first thing on what’s important or not…That information is easily available by just opening the owners manual or by going on-line and doing a simple google search. They would rather be fed information then be proactive and look it up themselves.
