Our Jeep has some sort of electrical problem. The battery completely drains within three days if it is not plugged into a charger continually. Short of tracing all wiring throughout the vehicle, our mechanic was unable to identify the problem after a couple of months at the shop. Any ideas what is causing this or has any other Jeep Patriot owner had the same problem?
Take the Jeep to a better shop. This is a parasitic drain. Usually caused by an electronic device that has failed internally or a switch that is staying on. Aftermarket alarms, radios and remote starters are notorious for this.
