low oil presure light comes on after driving a while than when i stop but when i resume it goes out ,checked the oil while light is on and it is still pumping.
1). Are you saying that you checked the oil while the motor is running?
2). Still pumping—what does that mean?

If engine oil level is within spec, the low oil pressure warning light means either
- Oil pressure is low, often due to worn out engine bearings
- Oil pressure sensor is faulty (hope it is this one)
Ask your shop to use their shop oil pressure gauge to get an accurate & independent measurement of the oil pressure.

Windows computer system, early days, friends would tell me their plan to avoid the long delay that occurs when turning computer off; i.e. the operating system’s shut-down procedure. They’d tell me “I’m not going to wait for that anymore, I’ll just unplug it” … lol …

A faulty oil pressure switch can cause that.
If the light still turns on after replacing the switch, have the oil pressure tested with a mechanical gauge.
