when i get out of my car it smells like something burning on the drivers side under the hood
“Something burning”? Like what? Oil? Electrical? Let the car sit and get good and cooled off, then open the hood and see if you can see any foreign matter, a bird nest for example. Look under the car and see if anything might be touching the exhaust. If you don’t see anything obvious, have it towed to a good independent shop and tell them what’s going on.
