2012 Hyundai Elantra trouble starting on hot days

When my car is out on a hot day (90+) it has problems starting (turns over and sputters). It is fine on cooler days and has no problem even when driven long distances.

Is the check engine light on?

How many miles on the engine and what transmission?

By “sputters” you mean it seems like it’s cranking but the engine fire a time or 2 but won’t start?

I have the same issue, except my car gets more jumpy on hotter days. I have a cylinder 2 misfire in my 2013 elantra. My check engine light only comes on when its above 90 degrees. Weird
