My car won’t steer even after adding the power steering fluid. I took it to the mechanic and he said that the bottom of my truck was covered in mud and that i had been driving my car with water in the power steering pump causing it to go out along with another part that I can’t remember. Whats the average cost to fix my car?
If your mechanic is correct (I would get a second opinion) the steering rack may be shot.
