i have a 2011 chevy malibu. my esc light and service traction light come on. they replace camshaft senoid. but the problem is still continue.
Your camshaft solenoid has nothing to do with ESC or traction.
ESC is electronic stability control and traction control is done by the same device as is ABS. Interesting that the ABS light is not on while the other 2 are.
A good independent auto shop can scan the ABS/ESC/TC module for the cause of those error codes.
last year they replace maniford sensor. when i got these error codes, just a couple of days they replace camshaft solenoid. also my engine light came on and stayed on.
Well that’s something you didn’t mention before. What are the error codes it has set? You local auto parts store can read them for you. Post them here. They will have the format P0xxxx.
You still need your ABS error codes read but auto parts stores can’t usually read those.
So, my advice stays the same - A good independent auto shop can scan the ABS/ESC/TC module for the cause of those error codes AND the OBD2 error codes.
