I replaced rear brake pads on my 2010 Taurus and now the parking brake will not wort, the cable moves but the piston doesn’t also the brakes feel a little soft
Did you follow Ford’s recommended pad replacement procedure? From the factory service manual, or from an aftermarket repair manual like Chilton’s or Haynes? If not, suggest to secure a copy of the manufacturer’s procedure and double check your work.
Those are screw in pistons, did you force them back (C clamp etc) or turn them in to compress the piston???
And on a lot of vehicles one side turns CW in and the other side turns CCW in…
Probably need two new rear calipers now…
