when it rains I get water on the driver’s side floorboard. seals on windows are ok, been tested, and vents are not blocked. local mechanic says maybe cracked firewall, $1000.00 or so to fix. any easier solutions? am 76, cannot afford another car.
Cracked firewall? I doubt that but if it was, I’d likely junk the car. It is far more likely the windshield seal has gone bad. Finding leaks can be difficult but a good mechanic should be able to find it.
