I replied in self defense to there rude comments . I asked a car question. Then people started to judge me. I suggest you start from the beginning question I had then read the comments.
Gary, you are not satisfied with the forum so why keep posting ? I would look for a BMW specific forum myself.

You are right. I am unsubsribing to Car Talk. I have learned two valuable lessons One do not trust a certain car dealerships diagnosis and two , do not ask a car question on Car Talk. Later.
