I like the concept of the Smart as it makes good sense in dense cities, but the execution was pathetic. A tiny car with a gutless engine should get far better gas mileage in the city. At highway speeds aerodynamics is more important and a stubby car won’t do very well. There are far better choices for highway driving that cost little more.
