how do you check power steering fluid
The instructions are in your owners manual. Warm up the car by driving it. Stop, remove the power steering reservoir cap, wipe the dipstick attached to it, re-install, remove and read the dipstick. Smell it, too. If it smells burnt, have it changed.
I thought you might have electric steering on this car but RockAuto.com shows only a hydraulic rack.
