2008 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 blue smoke on start

I have a 2010 Silverado with appro. 190,000 miles. it has just recently started to puff out blue smoke about every five start ups. Is there any thing I can do to fix this issue?

You get blue smoke only on startup? No other times?

I’d say the valve seals are going away. A compression check will confirm that. If the compression is OK, it is pretty likely valve seals. They can be replaced with the engine in the car.

If it is only every 5 starts, I’d check the engine’s oil level more often and if you aren’t using more than a quart every 2000 miles or so, I’d ignore it for now. If you really want to get ahead of it, change the valve seals now.
