2008 Chevrolet Impala intake manifold gasket leak

I have a 2008 Chevy Impalla. I was told I have a leak from the intake manifold gasket. Cost to fix $875. How important is this?

Leaking what? Coolant? Or air? Leaking into or onto where or what?

A coolant leak can kill your engine either into the engine or onto the ground.

Air leaking into the intake manifold will keep throwing check engine lights and can cause a lean condition that can burn valves or holes in your pistons.

You can pay for it now or pay more for it later. You decide on the importance.
