I have a 2008 Chevy Colorado with a engine death rattle. When truck is first started up everything is fine but after it runs for several minutes and gets to temp it starts knocking in the front of the engine in timing chain area. Can shut truck off wait a few minutes start it back up and sounds fine until it warms up again and the noise starts back
Keep doing that and you will need a complete engine overhaul . It appears you can’t fix this yourself so have it towed to a good shop , pay for a diagnostic then decide to fix or replace.
