Pulling P0982 and P0706 codes
Will not down shift after it has come to a stop.
Any thoughts/possible diagnosis?
I am having my mechanic look at it this week. I’m just trying to educate myself on the issue. Also, per the diagnosis, could I do this repair on my own?

Shift solenoid D circuit. The toyo trans in the equinox/torrents are fairly reliable. But they are man made and all things do fail.
