Dealer says blended oil only in my 2007, and that 2008 or later can take pure synthetic. Why?
Also, “91 octane only” Why?
Look in the manual and if it says Premium required then the dealer is correct . It will also list the oil to be used . And why are you going to a dealer for oil change on a 12 year old vehicle ?

The 2007-2012 ES 350 uses conventional 5W30 motor oil.
Starting in 2013 ES 350 0W20 synthetic is used.
