My AC works great but on occasion it blows only hot air. In a couple minutes it will return to normal operation.
Bring it into an AC shop so a set gauges can check state of the refrigerant charge.
But a faulty expansion valve can cause that.

Could be a blend door actuator problem. Maybe sticking or in need of calibration. Or possibly a faulty expansion valve causing temporary freeze ups.
