2007 Chrysler Sebring - Misdiagnosis

The idiot lights all came on and started flashing at random times. Finally it would not start and I had it towed to the local Chrysler dealer. After investigation, they determined it was Total Power Module which they replaced for $1500. I checked with a friend that used to work at a Chrysler dealership and he said that they had never heard of this problem with my model. Anyway, I had it replaced and when I got home, the same thing started again. I took it back and they told me that it was just a wire rubbing on the transmission. Did I get taken for a ride?

If your Chrysler vehicle has a Totally Integrated Power Module, electrical gremlins can occur.

Period!
