2006 Toyota Sienna backed it out of driveway when shifted to drive it just wouldn’t move! I could shift but it just kept showing it was in neutral even when shifted to park etc. It could be pushed easily and then had to put on emergency brake so it would not move! What do you think is wrong? Thank you!
Could be a mis-adjusted or broken shift linkage, bad motor mounts or a bad transmission. Whichever it is, a mechanic needs to see it to confirm. Have it towed to your local independent shop.
