My daughters 2006 Infinity G 35 transmission hesitates to downshift when lugging at 35mph. Is this a trait of this vehicle or a problem with the tranny or anything else? Is anyone else having this nusiance?
Is the transmission fluid at the correct level? Is the color red or pink? Has the transmission been maintained properly all along? How many miles does this car have?
Change the tranny fluid and filter if it has not been done in over 30k miles. I would have it done at the dealer. That way you get the manufacturer’s fluid.
