2005 Toyota Highlander - Battery issue leads to failed smog test

Replaced battery in August, 2024 after existing battery died. I had regular service in October at 161,933 miles. Failed Smog Test on January 12, 2025, “NOT READY,” at 163,068 miles. I have driven over 350 miles, city and freeway. I still get Not Ready reading. What can I do?

Sometimes it requires a certain drive cycle to get the readiness monitors to complete.

Here’s the drive cycle for your vehicle.

I was gonna say to make sure you have between a 1/4 tank of gas, (no less) and a 3/4 tank of gas (no more) until all the readiness monitors are complete…
