My 2004 alero olds cranks but dont start up on the first try so I would press the gas pedal while starting.Will this do damage.Also sometimes I notice smoke coming from hood of car when it starts.
Smoke under the hood? Could be ver serious problem. You need to have it checked by a competent mechanic immediately.
Next time your car could burst into flames. Not trying to scare you but it really needs to be addressed.
