I have a 2004; 4cyl Sonata, that jerks when I accelerate from a stop light or when I step on the gas, it jerks and sputters while passing another vehicle, then it gains speed?
You should start by stopping by a good shop and having your fault codes read.
By the way, how many miles does it have on it, has the maintenance been kept up to date, and have there been any other symptoms leading up to this?
@ the same mountain bike. It has about 112, 000 miles on it and maintenance was done about 5 months ago and the catalytic converter was replaced and O2 sensors. The jerking started about a week ago.
