My 5.4 engine starts missing when the temp outside gets frigid, about 50 deg, (in tucson,az). If I keep the rpm above 2000 untill the engine is thouroghly warm, about 5-6 miles, not a problem. Are ignition coils temp sensitive? I understand there is a fuel mix temp sensor somewhere which could be the cause. ???
You call that frigid ? Good Grief. Is your check engine light on ? If so have the codes read at a parts house and post them here . That will get you better answers.
