after stopping,as i accelerate car gives me a big kick…or push…mechanic not sure of problem,can it be transmission??

cottman is one. other charge $85.00 . you might have a bad trans or engine mount broken and the engine is jumping up and down causing a jerk. you should cv joints looked at if they have play this will cause a pause and jerk . all these checks are easy to do most shops will check these free
