I have a 2003 yukon 4wd and the service 4wd message came on the display what does this mean what do i do to fix it and will it hurt anything if i dont?
There should be a code in the OBC, go to a place like Autozone and have the code read free. Post the P# back here for more info.
The message could mean any number of faults.
From a malfunctioning 4x4 dash push button module to low fluid in the transfer case.
I wouldn’t ignore the message as this MAY be a trivial thing but it could also be serious. It’s your wallet.
