So I drive an automatic, just purchased April of this year it has roughly 50,000 miles on it. It started about a month ago and was something I just thought was a fluke but now I’m having the problem every morning. Basically it gets stuck in a gear whether it be reverse or park or drive. In the morning I have to do a 3 point turn to get out to leave for work, the transmission won’t get out of park w/out me having to like force the gear shifter over with extreme force, then i put it in reverse goes just fine, then I’ll try and take it out of reverse so I can drive away and it gets stuck! I do have the 3 year 36,000 mile warranty which I’m still covered by. My main concern is how long will I be w/out a vehicle? And what is causing this problem?
