2003 Chevrolet S-10 spongy brakes

My brakes are spongy. It was giving ne a abs code C0265. Replaced M.C and the abs module. Still spongy and I hear a pumping sound sometimes form the abs area. Should I replace ABS Pressure Modulator Valve?

Yes, I think you should replace the pressure modulator valve. You have a mechanical problem (mushy brakes, ABS motor running) setting and this is really a module type code. Try unplugging the ABS fuse to see if that firms up the brakes.

Are you sure the module you replaced is good because this website says pump motor run-on is a C0265 type problem.

Did you bench bleed the brake master before installing it?

How did you bleed the base brakes?
