knock sensor car stopping

Sorry, I will not play twenty questions with you.

Could mean the car’s computer is sensing engine pinging, which if left that way could damage the engine. So it puts the car in low power mode, or even potentially prevents the engine from running. That would be done to save you the cost of incurring expensive engine repairs. Ask your shop to determine why this is happening. Could be a faulty knock sensor, or you are using an incorrect gasoline, or could caused be other problems too numerous to mention.

Today is the tomorrow you worried about yesterday.
