Hi All…I have a 2002 Monte Carlo SS, with 16 inch rims/tires. I have an opportunity to buy a set of 18 inch rims/tires off of a 2007 Monte Carlo SS for next to nothing, they are brand new - my friend took them off of his car as soon as he bought it because he put aftermarket wheels on his Monte. My question is will these fit on my Monte or are they too big? Will they rub? And how would they affect the speedometer etc wouldnt they throw off an accurate reading? Thanks in advance.
If he IS a friend he’ll loan you one or two to try for fit and see if the speedo changes. They usually will when using a different diameter tire.
