I have been having trouble with my Isuzu Trooper for over a year now. Have had it rebuilt, three torque converters put in, and lots of trips back to the transmission shop. It seems to “slip” around 30-45 mph going uphill or when your not accelerating for various reasons (between that mph zone). We are at a loss and ready to get rid of this car, although it only has 105K miles on it. Our mechanic keeps reassuring us that he will figure this quirk out, but it is getting pretty inconvenient bringing it back constantly. The transmission light keeps coming back on, and the most recent thing tried was a transmission cooler. Any similar experiences or thoughts on this?
