I have a 2001 Nissan Sentra which the Blower Motor works only on High. Has anyone ever run into this before ? Any ideas on where to start looking? I am assuming that since the switch does work on high it is not something as easy as a blown fuse??
The problem lies in the blower motor resistor. Changing that out should take care of the problem.
Do you know where that is located? under dash or near blower motor?
Most are located below/behind the glove compartment attached to the firewall. The resistor block is attached to the blower motor.
Yep, the BMR is shot. It plugs into a hole in the plastic air duct.
Most likely place is under the dash/passenger side, but could also be under the hood.
It will have 4 or 5 wires attached to it.
