When it’s not cranking over . . . . are you at least getting power at the appropriate starter terminals?
No idea. I do get power at the relay in the fuse/relay panel. I am going to jack it up and get under there next time it malfunctions. Considering that a new starter solenoid costs less than $80 on RockAuto, and a complete new starter (with the new solenoid pre-installed) costs less than $150, I might as well change it out.
What Camry ?? This thread is about an old Mercury Sable and I think Mr. B is working on a Dawoe (sic) Lanos .

If someone can’t handle having something said about one very childish saying that many members have said NEEDS to stop doing, then maybe that member needs to stop saying the same childish thing on over half their post… It was said 5 out of 8 post in about a 3 hour time frame yesterday alone…
BTW I was flagged over asking why this person was introducing themselves to a 7 year active forum member using this childish saying that many have asked them to stop saying…
Go ahead and flag this one too… lol

It’s getting… tiresome… and as @jtsanders observed about a week ago, it’s actually an exercise in passive aggressive behavior.

Owned 2 of them a 2001 and a 2004.
The 2001 ran pretty good, the 2004 needed a transmission. Have it inspected!!
