I purchased a Dorman front ABS sensor to replace the original but it didn’t fit. The original took a while to get out because of corrosion but I’m sure I was able to get it all out and I even rubbed some emery paper around the inside of the hole before trying to put in the replacement.
How snug do these sensors fit? Did I just get a bad part or do I need take a file to the opening where the sensor goes to make it bigger?
If the sensor mount hole is clean, then I would guess a wrong part. Is the connector the same?
