Van dies sometime when I am coming to stop, or slowing down to turn. But will start up again when I put it in nuteral. Sometimes tries to sputter, but starts up and its okay again for awhile. What will cause this?
A bad idle air control valve would cause this.
What mustang man said. Also make sure all linkages are clear (nothing binding) and/or not gunked up. Another possibility is fuel pressure. If the pump is getting weak, it might be dropping pressure when the engine vacuum drops as the engine slows down…
