i wish to know whay oil and oil filter to use
On a 20+ year old vehicle of unknown mileage and maintenance history?
Just use the viscosity of oil specified in the owners manual and/or on the oil cap. Any brand of oil filter that is of correct size for your car is fine.
Just don’t exceed 5000 miles between changes. Check oil level frequently, add oil as needed.

As stated that is in your owners manual or even a simple web search will tell you . As for filter even Walmart has a chart that you can look up the filter for your vehicle .
Or you can just go to a parts store and let them look it up for you.
