I was putting oil treatment in my engine today and I noticed that my cap was covered with this milky white film…thoughts? and what will the cost likely be?
Hopefully that is just due to condensation on the cap. See what dipstick looks like. If it just shows normal oil then you are most likely fine.
So condensation isn’t a cracked head?
I thought water wasn’t supposed to get into the engine?
I’m also gonna note that I do hear ticking in the morning when I first start the car (it does get to be like 14 degrees in the AM)…but it goes away when it gets warmed up.
