I have a 1999 300m. The belt on the ac compressor is worn and is making noise coming from the compressor or pulley. I think the compressor might be bad also. I dont really care about ac so i do not want to replace the compressor so I was wondering if I were to just take the ac belt off and not replace it would this affect anything else in the motor (i.e. is this belt connected to anything other than just the compressor unit)?? Any help would be appreciated.
