No. Clean the Idle Air controller motor and see if it clears up. High idle could also be caused by a stuck thermostat keeping the engine from warming up. The ECU will bump up the idle trying to get the engine to warm up. Just another thing to think of.
and it is 350 vortec? you ever had the intake manifold worked on? those motors are known to have leaky intake gaskets. so your coolant level is ok? its a good motor if you can get past the intake issues.
