I feel hydraulic brake boosters get a lot of undeserved criticism
After you get used to the different pedal feel, you get used to it
We have some class 7 trucks in our fleet with hydraulic brake boosters . . . so the system is apparently up to the task of stopping some seriously heavy vehicles
