this van will only move in reverse. Does this sound like I would need to get a new transmission or could it be somthing else. I am looking to buy this van. Everything else is in good working order and I can get the van at a really good price if it doesn’t cost too much to fix. What is the price of a transmission for this van?
A lot of times on this transmission its only a bad solenoid pack that is the problem. You will need to take it to a reputable transmission shop to diagnose if its the solenoid pack, wire harness plug, or major internal failure that will require a rebuild or replacement.
Used tranny about $2300. New/rebuilt= up to $3000? Not positive.
