I have a Mazda MX3 V6 it’s a 1994, anyways the cars starts and runs fine, you can rev it up and it dont stall sputter or anything, but as soon as you put it in gear it dies, just seeing if anyone know what may be going on with it. Thanks
P.Ss also I just put a new IAC vavle on the car. dont think that has anything to do with it, but this is the 1st time I have ever worked on a mazda, and just as a side note, the car ran good for about 2 days after the install of the IAC.
Could this be the symptoms of a bad Torque Converter?
How about you start with the basics. How many miles are on it? How old are the spark plugs & wires? Cap & rotor (if applicable)? Air & fuel filters? Can you put a fuel pressure gauge on it?
Its not clear whether the issue was completely gone with the new IAC or not. But it pays to remember that the IAC can only work with good wiring/connections.
Is the check engine light on?
