My 1991 Ford Escort Broke Down on me. When I pushed on the gas It didn’t do anything it would stay at 30 mph and the rpm would stay at 2. then after a couple minutes it would be just fine. then i turned the car off and now it wont start. it turnes over but wont star all the way

Sarah, it could be anything from a dead battery to a dead fuel pump. It needs to be looked at hands on. Since it needs to be towed anyway (unless you have a friend with some test equipment) then you may as well get it towed to a reputable shop and just let them diagnose it.
