My 1989 Z24 will not run on reg. gas, i have to use premium for it to run and not spit and sputter. what would cause this?
You probably have severe timing issues, and need a full tune-up. This includes checking the coil and replacing distributor cap and rotor, ignition wires, and spark plugs.
I would follow Busted’s advice and have a compression test. It is possible you have a heavy carbon build up and may need that addressed.
i think i finally found it. it stopped running like this after i diconnected the throttle position sensor. but i have another question. what would cause an ignition coil to burn out twice in two weeks
